Visit from the National Institute of Engineering (NIE) at KraftwerkLand

On March 22, Prof. Shamsundar Subbarao, head of the Centre for Renewable energy and sustainable Technologies at the National Institute Of Engineering, Mysuru, India, NIE-CREST, visited the iFE and KraftwerkLand. Prof. Dr. Klepp presented the institute's work on energy research and gave a tour of the KraftwerkLand facilities. There was an exchange with the President, Prof. Dr. Jürgen Krahl, on possible cooperation in the areas of teaching and research.

The NIE is one of the top 100 engineering colleges in India.  CREST conducts applied research for the rural sector on the topics of microgrids, biogas and biofuels.
