Nils Bokermann

Research focus

Nils Bokermann works as a mechatronics engineer in the MONOCAB_READY project and is involved in the holistic development and integration of subcomponents for the MONOCAB. These include the programming and integration of the control units. Nils Bokermann also heads the MONOCAB_READY project's working group for simulation and vehicle dynamics and acts as a link for cooperation between the Ostwestfalen-Lippe Lemgo University of Applied Sciences and Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences.

Professional career

During his Master's degree at the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences in Lemgo, Bokermann worked as a research assistant for the Institute of Energy Research. His activities focused on the fluid dynamic (CFD) analysis of a rotating ceramic separator for the company GEA Westfalia Separator GmbH. The aim was to increase efficiency by adjusting parameters such as rotational speeds.

Since completing his Master's degree, Nils Bokermann has been working as a research assistant for Department 5 (Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering).

Academic education

Bokermann successfully completed his Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences in 2021. He then completed his Master's degree in “Mechatronic Systems” at the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences in Lemgo at the beginning of 2025.
