Laura Regehr

Research focus

Laura Regehr has been a research assistant in the Department of Building Physics and Technical Construction under Prof. Dr. Susanne Schwickert since September 2025. In teaching, she focuses on the module Building Physics and Energy.

Professional career

From 2018 to 2022, Laura worked at an architecture office in Bielefeld while pursuing her studies. Since then, she has been regularly revising projects in collaboration with the office.

During her studies, she also worked as a student research assistant; following her bachelor’s degree, she continues as a research associate in the field of Building Physics and Technical Building Services. Here she was able to participate in many different research projects.

Academic education

Laura began her studies at TH OWL in 2017 and graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. She has completed her Master's (Integrated Architectural Design, M. Sc.) in February 2026. In her master's thesis, Laura developed a science communication project about sustainable construction.
