Forschungstätigkeit / Research activities:

Thomas Pawlik forscht im Rahmen seiner Promotion zu der Optimierung der Gebäudetechnik und des Energiemanagements unter Berücksichtigung unkonventioneller Komponenten.

As part of his doctoral thesis, Thomas Pawlik is researching the optimization of building technology and energy management, taking into account unconventional components.

Berufstätigkeit / Employment:

Bereits während seines Master-Studiums stieg Pawlik als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in die Arbeitsgruppe Regelungstechnik und Simulation ein. Seit 2014 ist er hier tätig. Pawlik ist Mitglied des Vereins Deutscher Ingenieure (VDI).

Pawlik joined the control engineering and simulation working group as a research assistant during his master’s degree. He has been working here since 2014. Pawlik is a member of the Association of German Engineers (VDI).

Akademische Ausbildung / Academic education:

Nach Abschluss seines Bachelor-Studiums des Maschinenbaus an der Technischen Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe (TH OWL) im Jahr 2013, begann Pawlik in demselben Jahr das Master-Studium der Mechatronik an der TH OWL, welches er 2014 abschloss.

After completing his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at the OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts (TH OWL) in 2013, Pawlik began his master's degree in mechatronics at the TH OWL in the same year, which he completed in 2014.
