Leon Reker

Forschungstätigkeit / Research activities:

Seit Februar 2025 ist Leon Reker als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Projekt „Smart Recycling Factory“ an der TH OWL bei Prof. Dr.-Ing. Rainer Rasche tätig. Er beschäftigt sich mit dem digitalen Produktpass (DPP) und entwickelt einen dezentralen Prototypen, der auf der Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) basiert.

Since February 2025, Leon Reker has been working as a research assistant on the Smart Recycling Factory project at TH OWL under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Rainer Rasche. He is working on the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and is developing a decentralized prototype based on Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT).

Berufstätigkeit / Employment:

Während seines Studiums war Leon Reker über einen längeren Zeitraum als SHK und WHK an der Universität Bielefeld tätig. Er unterstützte verschiedene Veranstaltungen als Tutor und war lange Tutorensprecher der Fakultät für Mathematik.

During his studies, Leon Reker worked for a long time as a student assistant (SHK) and research assistant (WHK) at the University of Bielefeld. He supported various courses as a tutor and served as the head of the tutor group for the Faculty of Mathematics for an extended period.

Akademische Ausbildung / Academic education:

Leon Reker studierte an der Universität Bielefeld, wo er seinen Bachelor in Mathematik (B.Sc.) mit den Nebenfächern Informatik und Physik abschloss. Anschließend absolvierte er seinen Master in Mathematik (M.Sc.) an der Universität Bielefeld.

Leon Reker studied at the University of Bielefeld, where he completed his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (B.Sc.) with minors in Computer Science and Physics. He then went on to complete his Master's degree in Mathematics (M.Sc.) at the same university.
