Forschungstätigkeit / Research activities:
Anika Steinkuhl ist im Forschungsprojekt Smart Recycling Factory tätig und beschäftigt sich im Rahmen von diesem mit dem Gebäuderessourcenpass sowie verschiedenen Bilanzierungsmethoden und deren Einflüssen auf die Kreislaufwirtschaft im Bauwesen.
Anika Steinkuhl is part of the Smart Recycling Factory research project and is working on the building resource passport and various accounting methods and their impact on the circular economy in the construction industry.
Berufstätigkeit / Employment:
Während ihres dualen Studiums bei der Deutschen Telekom AG durchlief Anika Steinkuhl verschiedene Abteilungen des technischen Bereiches sowie ein Auslandspraktikum bei Magyar Telekom Nyrt. in Budapest, Ungarn. Nach Abschluss des Studiums blieb sie bei der Telekom Technik GmbH, wo sie im Bereich „Produktion Technische Infrastruktur“ das Monitoring für verschiedene Bautätigkeiten des Netzausbaus verantwortete. Weiterhin unterstützte sie die Entwicklungszusammenarbeit der Ingenieure ohne Grenzen e.V. über mehrere Jahre bei einem Infrastrukturprojekt in Uganda. Hier übernahm sie nach der technischen Leitung zeitweise auch die Projektleitung. Im Rahmen ihres Masterstudiums arbeitete sie an IT-Projekten, wie beispielsweise bei der Miele & Cie. KG und der Claas KGaA mbH.
During her dual studies Anika Steinkuhl worked in various technical departments at Deutsche Telekom AG and completed an internship abroad at Magyar Telekom Nyrt. in Budapest, Hungary. After finishing her studies, she remained at Telekom Technik GmbH, she monitored various network expansion construction activities in the “Produktion Technischer Infrastruktur“ department. Additionally, she worked for several years with Ingenieure ohne Grenzen e.V. in development cooperation on an infrastructure project in Uganda. In addition to technical management, she also took over project management for a time. As part of her master’s degree, she worked on IT projects at Miele & Cie. KG and Claas KGaA mbH, among others.
Akademische Ausbildung / Academic education:
Ihren Bachelor in Kommunikations- und Medieninformatik (B. Eng.) schloss Anika Steinkuhl 2019 an der Hochschule für Telekommunikation in Leipzig ab. Darauf aufbauend nahm sie den Masterstudiengang Wirtschaftsinformatik (M. Sc.) an der Hochschule Bielefeld auf. Im Rahmen des Masters absolvierte sie ein Auslandssemester an der LAB University of Applied Science in Lahti, Finnland und besuchte Kurse der Architektur und des Bauingenieurwesens am HSBI Campus Minden. Den Studiengang schloss Anika Steinkuhl 2024 als M. Sc. ab.
Anika Steinkuhl completed her bachelor’s degree in computer science and telecommunications at the University of Applied Sciences for Telecommunication in Leipzig in 2019. She then went on to study for a master’s degree in business information systems (M. Sc.) at University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Bielefeld. As part of her master's degree, she spent a semester abroad at the LAB University of Applied Science in Lahti, Finland, and attended courses in architecture and civil engineering at the HSBI Campus Minden. Anika Steinkuhl completed her master’s degree in 2024.
