Leon Timmermann

Research focus

Leon Timmermann is responsible for the design and development of the mechanical components of the MONOCAB vehicles as a mechatronics engineer in the MONOCAB project.

Professional career

Leon Timmermann has been working as a research associate in the MONOCAB project since May 2025. Before his studies, he completed an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician at Lenze, a manufacturer of drive and automation technology, where he also worked after his apprenticeship.

Academic education

From 2021 to 2025, Leon Timmermann studied mechatronics at TH OWL and graduated with a Bachelor of Science. In addition to his work as a research associate, he is also pursuing a master’s degree in Mechatronic Systems at TH OWL.
