Leon Timmermann ist im Projekt MONOCAB als Mechatronik-Ingenieur für die Konstruktion und die Auslegung der mechanischen Komponenten der MONOCAB Fahrzeuge verantwortlich.

Leon Timmermann is responsible for the design and development of the mechanical components of the MONOCAB vehicles as a mechatronics engineer in the MONOCAB project.

Berufstätigkeit / Employment

Als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter ist Leon Timmermann seit Mai 2025 im Projekt MONOCAB tätig. Vor seinem Studium absolvierte er eine Ausbildung als Mechatroniker bei der Firma Lenze, einem Hersteller für Antriebs- und Automatisierungstechnik und war dort nach der Ausbildung tätig.

Leon Timmermann has been working as a research associate in the MONOCAB project since May 2025. Before his studies, he completed an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician at Lenze, a manufacturer of drive and automation technology, where he also worked after his apprenticeship.

Akademische Ausbildung / Academic education

Leon Timmermann studierte Mechatronik an der TH OWL von 2021 bis 2025 und schloss das Studium als Bachelor of Science ab. Neben seiner Tätigkeit als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter studiert er, ebenfalls an der TH OWL, Mechatronische Systeme im Master.

From 2021 to 2025, Leon Timmermann studied mechatronics at TH OWL and graduated with a Bachelor of Science. In addition to his work as a research associate, he is also pursuing a master’s degree in Mechatronic Systems at TH OWL.
