Jonas Weich

Research focus

Jonas Weich deals with the functional safety and availability of electrical drives. The focus is on the selection and implementation of fail-safe control components and safe fault detection.

Professional career

During his studies, Jonas Weich was already employed as a mechatronics technician at Phoenix Contact, where he supported mechatronic development by manufacturing and assembling prototypes and their components. He is employed as a research assistant at the TH-OWL since December 2024.

Academic education

Jonas Weich began his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in winter 2020 and successfully completed it in 2024 with a specialization in “Information Technology”.
