Research focus
Magnus Droste is working on the "DCI4CHARGE" project, which involves modelling and simulating a modern DC grid with bidirectional charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
Professional career
During his bachelor's degree Droste worked as a student trainee in the electrical design department of the mechanical engineering company Wemhöhner Surface Technologies GmbG & Co. KG in Herford. In 2021, he began working as a research assistant at the TH OWL on the MonoCab project. After completing his master's degree in 2023, Droste was hired as a research assistant in the DCI4CHARGE research project.
Academic education
Magnus completed his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on automation technology at the TH-OWL in 2021. He then started a master's degree in electrical engineering at the TH-OWL, which he successfully completed in 2023.
