Model region for post-fossil mobility

The model region Postfossil Mobility Ostwestfalen-Lippe sees itself as a real laboratory for business, science and society. It is a platform for new technologies for the development, testing and implementation of post-fossil mobility solutions. The central research and transfer infrastructure is the gas station of the future. Different approaches under the common umbrella of the model region demonstrate their practical suitability and help to promote technology acceptance and environmental protection.

Questions about energy generation, supply and use are linked to one another. The project uses a technology-open approach. For the first time in Europe, application-oriented competencies of mobility, fuel, drive and infrastructure research are bundled in Postfossil Mobil.

In the model region, the regenerative mobility of tomorrow is being thought ahead. To this end, projects from the areas of "regenerative energy sources", "vehicle technologies", "vehicle infrastructure", "traffic systems" and "society / politics" are being implemented.
