NetEfficient - Software tool for planning and optimizing the energy efficiency of electrical systems

Duration
-

The aim of the project is the development of a software tool for the determination of energy efficiency potentials in the planning and implementation of industrial plants and plant components, building control systems and regenerative energy generation plants. To this end, calculation models are to be developed on the basis of a large number of products, which is to be implemented in a software program to help planners and operators in the energy-efficient design of new and existing production facilities, the electrical equipment of commercial buildings and energy generation plants. For this purpose, a large number of existing products must be identified and the relevant data extracted and mapped in mathematical models. These models are then translated into variable abstract software descriptions and implemented in software tools. A focus is placed on user-friendly implementation, which also makes it impossible for highly specialized experts to design and operate systems accordingly.
