Christin Schäfers
Lehrtätigkeit / Teaching activity:
Christin Schäfers ist seit September 2022 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin im Lehrgebiet Bauphysik und Technischer Ausbau bei Prof.'in Dr.-Ing. Susanne Schwickert. In ihrem Tätigkeitsfeld der Lehre betreut sie schwerpunktmäßig die Module Bauphysik und Technischer Ausbau in der Architektur und Innenarchitektur. Darüber hinaus werden die wesentlichen Themen der Bauphysik in den Entwurfsfächern der Architektur Baukonstruktion und Projekt Konstruktion durch sie begleitet. Ebenso ist sie verantwortlich für das Weiterbildungsseminar zum Energieberater*in. Ebenso treibt sie die Anwendung kreislaufgerechter Planung und die Einbindung des Urban-Mining-Gedankens als Entwurfswerkzeug in der Lehre voran.
Christin Schäfers has been a research assistant in the Department of Building Physics and Technical Finishing with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Susanne Schwickert since September 2022. In her field of teaching, she mainly supervises the modules Building Physics and Technical Construction in Architecture and Interior Design. In addition, she is responsible for the main topics of building physics in the design subjects of architecture, building construction and project construction. She is also responsible for the advanced training seminar for energy consultants. She also promotes the application of cycle-oriented planning and the integration of urban mining as a design tool in teaching.
Berufstätigkeit / Employment:
Während ihrer Studientätigkeit hat Christin Schäfers in diversen Praxisphasen in Architekturbüros mitgearbeitet. Zum einen begleitete sie auf Sylt in dem Büro Schlums+Franzen bei der Realisierung und Planung eines Restaurants mit dem Schwerpunkt auf Ausführungsplanung und Baubegleitung. Zum anderen hat sie in Heidelberg bei dem Büro SSV Architekten ihr Praxissemester in verschiedenen Bereichen des Bauablaufs sowohl bei Neubauten als auch bei Gebäuden im Bestand eingebracht.
During her studies Christin Schäfers has worked in various practical phases in architectural offices. On the one hand, she assisted in the realization and planning of a restaurant on the island of Sylt at the office of Schlums+Franzen, focusing on implementation planning and construction supervision. On the other hand, in Heidelberg at the office SSV Architekten, she contributed her practical semester in various areas of the construction process, both for new buildings and for existing buildings.
Akademische Ausbildung / Academic education:
Im Jahre 2022 hat Christin Schäfers ihre Bachelor-Studium der Architektur mit Auszeichnung an der TH OWL in Detmold absolviert. Im Anschluss hat sie den Master mit dem Schwerpunkt Architektur an der TH OWL in Detmold angefangen und plant es im Jahre 2025 zu beenden.
In 2022, Christin Schäfers completed her bachelor's degree in architecture with honors at TH OWL in Detmold. She then started her master's degree with a focus on architecture at TH OWL in Detmold and plans to finish it in 2025.
