Research focus
Guido Langer deals with general fluid dynamics problems, in particular with the numerical and computer-aided investigation of flowed-around bodies using CFD. Another focus is currently on the investigation of the energy contribution of small wind turbines to the energy transition.
Professional career
During his bachelor's and master's studies, Langer worked as a student assistant at TH OWL in the fluid dynamics laboratory on several research projects. Since October 2022, he is a research associate in the Laboratory for Fluid Machinery and Fluid Dynamics at the OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
Academic education
Langer studied mechanical engineering in the bachelor's degree course at TH OWL until 2018. He then went on to complete his master's degree in mechanical engineering, which he also completed there in 2022.
