Patrick Spanier

Research activities

Patrick Spanier coordinates various research and transfer projects in the fields of production, automation and DC grids. He is currently involved in the TRiNNOVATION, DC-Power, Smart-E-Factory and DCI4CHARGE projects. Spanier also represents the TH in the SmartFactoryOWL office.

Teaching

As part of the apprenticeship, Spanier takes care of internships and theses.

Professional career

Since completing his bachelor's degree in 2009, Spanier has been working as a research assistant in the power electronics and electronic drives working group at the OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts (TH OWL). He has also been the managing director of the Innelekt GmbH startup since 2017.

Academic education

Spanier studied mechatronics as part of his bachelor's degree (degree in 2009) and mechatronic systems as part of his master's degree (degree in 2012) at TH OWL.
