Research focus

Maximilian Lammersen's research focusses on concepts for modular mechatronic systems. With the aim of completing his doctorate, he is investigating structuring concepts and methods for selecting operating points in these systems. He is also working on the testing and optimisation of mechatronic systems.

Professional career

Before studying, Lammersen completed an apprenticeship as an electronics technician for industrial engineering at Westfalen Weser Netz GmbH. This was followed by a practice-integrated Bachelor's degree in cooperation with Hörmann KG Antriebstechnik.

After completing his bachelor's degree, Lammersen joined Hörmann KG Antriebstechnik as a hardware and software developer. After the following part-time Master's degree, he worked there as a hardware developer. In 2022, the transfer to OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts (TH OWL) as a research associate took place.

Academic education
